About Image Pointe

2007 marks the 30th Anniversary of our company, Image Pointe. It is hard to believe just how many Union Made T-shirts we have printed and shipped all over the United States to so many of you these last 30 years. Looking over the account list today, we are still working with many of you that we have from the very beginning of our company, and we are so thankful for your continued business and friendship over the years.
This past year marked the 5 year anniversary of the death of our son, John Richard, who was taken from us at the age of 21 when a drunk driver hit him head on. Early on in 2005, Jeff had felt lead to do a project that would be in honor of John, his only son. Little did I know at the time, that the project would be to restore a 1969 Dodge Charger SE. This year, the now fully restored classic car will be sold and the money donated to the John Swartzendruber Ministry Center in Brno, Czech Republic. It is a Community Center for young people to come and play sports, hang out, and spend time at the coffee shop. It is a safe place to come and have fun without the peer pressure of alcohol and drugs.
Now this project is all well and good and something to be very proud of, however, Jeff at the time knew absolutely nothing about restoring a classic car...NOTHING! In fact one of our employees husband’s who helped restore the classic car came over one night and asked Jeff in his Bosnian accent, “Do you know what you are doing?” Jeff replied, “No, but neither do you, so get in here and help me.” And that he did. I soon found our garage full of many friends who came over and helped with this project.
It made me once again realize just how great America can be, how when we put our minds together and work together we can do just about anything. We can be proud of what we build, of what we manufacture, and yes, in what we RESTORE BACK TO AMERICA.
Isn’t it time American workers realize the great resources we all have and how blessed we all are when we take pride in our work? We feel a sense of pride when we all can see the tags say, Union Made in the USA, and projects have the stamp of approval, Done by Union Workers. We all will never know what this next year will bring. Trust us when we say that losing a child and an only brother, Jeff, I, and our daughter, Beth, have come to realize how short life really is. We have today to make a difference in this life and leave our mark as our Father’s left their mark before us.
